New Zealand are fortunate to be hosting Fabien and Malin from Flyeo paragliding school this month.  They have travelled from France with their families to hold the first SIV courses in NZ for a few years due to lack of site access over water.  These are 3-day courses of technical and theory instruction over Lake Dunstan in Cromwell, Otago with focus on piloting and psychology/self-knowledge.  Students are towed to approximately 3000ft above the lake using Para Tow NZ and their payout winch before releasing from tow with each flight and instruction personally tailored to pilot level and goals.  What an amazing opportunity for NZ pilots and our flying community!
